The Ice House Arts Center has numerous readings and music from the era.The local shops are open later with all kinds of discounts. Cacapon State Park has a live performance of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol at 7:30 on Saturday evening. The Museum of the Berkeley Springs is open on Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 4pm. Earlier this week we had to say goodbye to our wonderful Tuxedo Kitty Chico who has been a visible presence at the Inn for the past 14 years. He was a great kitty and the guests just loved him, he will be sorely missed.

The festival is Saturday and Sunday 10am to 4pm at the Ice House.While at the Ice House visit the Art Gallery for your holiday shopping the Gallery is open from 11am to 5pm all weekend.

Berkeley Springs is the place to be this weekend for the 40th Annual Apple Butter Festival. The areas trees are bursting with color and the backdrop for the festival. The festival starts Friday evening with a block party downtown from 7-11pm.Then the real festivities begin on Saturday morning starting at 9am with our own local parade celebrating 150 years of West Virginia statehood.The festival has all sorts of goodies to buy wines to sample and music all day long. The festival starts again on Sunday at 11am and ends at 5pm.
