August 9-11 Weekend Happenings

Berkeley Springs is a great place for summer fun whether it be hiking and swimming at Cacapon State Park or in town for massages at Atasia Spa and a Sunday Farmers Market.

The masked man and Tonto ride in to Berkeley Springs at the Star Theatre as the “Lone Ranger” plays all weekend one showing at 8pm. Berkeley Springs always has music and this weekend at Berkeley Springs State Park is the bluegrass and country folk sound of Linda Lay and Springfield Exit, Saturday at 5:30pm. Want more music, local superstar Billy Thompson plays blues at the Fairfax Coffee House 8pm Saturday evening. The Museum of Berkeley Springs in Berkeley Springs State Park is open for tours on Saturday from 11am to 4pm and on Sunday at 2pm WV Statehood lectures this week featuring Lincoln scholar and author Ed Steers. On your way home on Sunday don’t miss the Berkeley Springs Farmers Market downtown open from 10am to 2pm.
