August 16-18 Weekend Happenings

Comfortable days and cool nights are with us for a few more days and still time to reserve a room for Thursday and Friday or one night only, we are filled for Saturday.

The Star Theatre has the Zombie Apocalypse “World War Z” staring Brad Pitt all weekend one showing at 8pm or just stop in for some great popcorn. Berkeley Springs always has music and this weekend is no exception with the boogie woogie sounds of the Daryl Davis Band in Berkeley Springs State Park at 5:30 on Saturday. The music continues at 8pm at the Fairfax Coffee House with the sounds of the Tonehounds.The Museum of the Berkeley Springs has local author Tim Rowland talk about “The Day We Bombed Hancock” at 2pm on Sunday as part of a continuing series of lectures on WV Statehood. The Museum is open from 11am to 4pm Friday thru Monday.On your way out of town on Sunday don’t miss the Berkeley Springs Farmers Market open from 10am to 2pm downtown and across the street in Berkeley Springs State Park from 10am to 4pm is Art in the Park.
